Three Bronze Vases and an Ewer, China, a globular form ewer with long neck widening toward the top to form a jar-shape mouth, decorated with scrolling grapevine designs to body and neck, ht. 6 1/8; a hu-form vase resting on a splayed stem foot, with two openwork tubular handles to neck, decorated in three tiers, with meander pattern to neck and handles and archaic-style patterns and symbols to shoulder and body, all in bas-relief, ht. 7 3/8; a gu-form vase with trumpet mouth and slightly flared foot, decorated with raised rings and flanges, the shaft decorated with stylized taotie design in bas-relief, ht. 7 3/8; and a small garlic-head vase, pear-shape with long neck and jar-shape mouth resting on a raised short foot, ht. 4 3/8 in.
