Pair of Wooden Southern Official's Hat Armchairs, China, late 19th century, with round crest rail, stiles, and curved arms, plain splat, seat formed by a wooden panel set in round-edged frame, rounded legs joined by stretchers and footrest, beaded apron front with plain apron sides and back, with traces of red and black lacquer, ht. 41 1/4, seat ht. 21 1/2 x 21 3/4 x 18 1/2 in.
