此洗呈六瓣葵花式，敞口，浅腹，下呈三足。通体内外施米白微黄色釉，釉汁肥厚均匀，色泽温润。釉表以开片为饰，大小开片迂回穿插，自然相缀，浑然天成，形成金丝铁线。底露铁足，口沿内圈呈紫褐色，形成宋瓷“金丝铁线，紫口铁足”之特征。盘心后刻金色满文，后刻文在清三代之前较为常见。
