壶呈圆口，细束颈，垂腹，圈足外撇，一侧有弯形长柄，柄上有小系，另一侧附长流，流与颈间有云板相连。通体青花釉里红为饰，颈部绘蕉叶纹，下饰变形莲瓣纹一周，与近足处的莲瓣纹形成呼应。腹部绘以丛簇的荷叶、浮萍、水草、鸳鸯等图案。花草与鸳鸯之下都带有简笔水波纹，给人以莲池荡漾、鸳鸯戏水之动感场景。
