本品敞口，微微外撇，弧腹下收，圈足。内外皆施青釉，釉色青中闪黄，釉不及底。碗心以彩勾勒仙鹤纹样式，仙鹤展翅，栩栩如生。釉面有细小的开片纹，底足露胎，胎呈土灰色，胎质坚实，造型古朴饱满。长沙窑创烧于中唐，盛于晚唐、五代，是一处规模宏大、技艺极高的大型瓷窑。本品时代特征明显，甚为难得。
