An Imperial Ruby Enamelled Bowl, Yongzheng Mark and Period. Size: 1 1/2" H x 2 1/2" W. excellent - no losses or damages and no repairs or restoration. Provenance: From the estate of John Pearson who is a former U.S. Navy pilot stationed in Japan and Taiwan during the 1950s-1960s. The objects in this sale from his collection were acquired 1950s-1960s and have since remained in the family. Reference: A closely related pair of bowls is published in The Tsui Museum of Art. Chinese Ceramics IV, Hong Kong, 1995, pl. 25; another pair from the estate of John B. Trevor, was sold at Christie’s New York, 19th September 2007, lot 340.
