A late Victorian pink spinel and rose cut diamond hinged bangle, circa 1900, the central panel set with oval cut pink spinels interspaced with rose cut diamonds, with rose cut diamond points between, to a polished gold narrow hinged bangle, inner width 5.9cm, 12.3g gross, in a later green bangle box Condition Report: One of the spinels has been replaced with a red paste, the panel has unusual attachments underneath with foldable later loops, where it may have been able to unscrew from the bangle setting. The stones settings have had some repairs, a couple of small diamonds may be replacements. There is some abrasion to the spinel crown facet edges, more to the paste. The bangle has surface scuffing commensurate with age and use, a couple of small dinks, the clasp and hinge are in good working order. Condition Report Disclaimer
