A mid 20th century Portuguese enamel and diamond stonechat brooch, the bird with a circular cabochon ruby eye, and rose cut diamond set feathers, to a brown and yellow enamel breast, to gold coloured beak, feet and branch, stamped with Oporto, Portugal, post 1938 marks and an indistinct maker mark, 4cm long, 12.3g gross Condition Report: The diamonds are all present and correct, they are in closed back silver settings. There is some wear to the brooch from use, some of the diamond settings are rubbed.
