Japanese Surimono, Titled the "Shirabyoshi Dancer". Although some have mistakenly called this scene "traveler" of "beauty". This elegant surimono is based on a design by Oishi Matora (1793-1833) and is basically signed, "done by Matora of the Yamatoe School". It was a popular design with small variations and was even reissued by Matora in the later years of his life. Other impressions were also done in the Meiji Period and made specifically for foreigners. This particular variation is most similar to the Chazen Museum example. Some edge discoloration from previous framing. A LIST OF RECOMMENDED THIRD-PARTY SHIPPER IS AVAILABLE UNDER SHIPPING INFORMATION. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT THEM FOR A QUOTE.
