18th and 19th century The first decorated with recessed arabesque shaped panels enclosing vases of flowers and scholars' objects, alternating with panels of floral pendants, all on a whorl pattern ground reserved with scattered flowerheads; the second painted with twin phoenix in a garden of peonies, magnolia and rockwork.
