Ming Dynasty The pear-shaped body rising from a gently spreading foot to a waisted neck, carved with two archaistic taotie masks separated by ruyi designs, with a geometric band at the neck beneath the flaring mouth, the semi-translucent stone of pale-green tone with beige inclusions. 9cm (3 1/2in) high.
