Ming dynasty Rising from a tall spreading foot pierced as open rockwork, surmounted by a parrot with wings spread and tail raised, with a cover detachable at the centre of the back, its head turned left, with the beak partially opened and two further holes pierced to the cover and under the tail for the release of smoke, covered overall in an even green glaze with natural crackling. 29cm (11 3/8in) high.
