Late Ming Dynasty Boldly and brightly enamelled on a rich turquoise ground with a wide band of large lotus blooms borne on scrolling foliage issuing curling leaves in a continuous meander around the compressed central section, the tapering neck, lower part of the body and high spreading foot with three narrower lotus-meander bands, all divided by three narrow dark-blue-ground floral-meander bands. 59cm (23 2/8in) high.
