Qianlong The bowl of deep U-shape with flaring sides rising to an upright rim with chased key-fret border, surmounted by a domed cover culminating in a delicate four-petalled finial with pierced centre, each decorated to the exterior with formal lotus on turquoise ground and lapis-blue ruyi borders at the rims, the bowl supported on an elaborate, reticulated stand comprising eight fixed scrolling leaves and four detachable inset curling leaves, variously enamelled gilt, turquoise and lapis-blue, all above a domed base in the shape of a lotus leaf. 25.7cm (10 1/8in) high (8).
