Qianlong Decorated within a central six-lobed flowerhead panel with a child, probably representing Isaac, reaching up to a bearded figure, possibly Abraham, clad in billowing robes in a landscape setting, on a dense ground of finger citrus and flower sprays within entwined scrolling foliage, the underside pink-enamelled in imitation of ruby-back porcelain, 11.5cm (4.1/2in) diam.; together with a pear-shaped cream jug and cover, 18th century, with a butterfly and insects above fruit and flower sprays, 11cm (4 1/4in) high; and a saucer, 18th century, decorated with two butterflies alighting on sprays of flowering peony and lily, 13cm (5in) diam.
