Attributed to Namikawa Yasuyuki (1845-1927), circa 1880 Finely worked in silver wire, the body with two circular panels, one enclosing a coiled five-clawed dragon, the second panel with a ho-o bird flying above two sprays of paulownia, both panels bordered by a narrow band of repeated half chrysanthemum heads, the sides, foot and neck decorated with a profusion of assorted chrysanthemum heads, unsigned; with an unrelated wood storage box. 19.2cm (7½in) high.
