Attributed to the workshop of Ando Jubei (1876-1953) of Nagoya, Meiji era (1868-1912), early 20th century The rim worked with band of totai-jippo (plique-à-jour) and silver wire with rectangular lobed panels enclosing a large chrysanthemum or peony bloom interwoven with foliage on a ground of greyish teal echoing the interior well, unsigned; with a custom-made, velvet storage box. 9cm x 20.2cm (3½in x 8in).
