Showa era (1926-1989), dated 1946 and circa 1950s Two oban tate-e prints: one titled along the left margin Shiobara Hataori (Hataori in Shiobara), depicting a heavy snow storm blowing over the village of Shiobara, lights shining from three buildings in the middle foreground, dated Showa nijuichinen saku (Work of Showa 21 [1946]), published by Watanabe Shozaburo, with a 6mm round Watanabe seal at the bottom left corner, 39.5cm x 26.2cm (15½in x 10 9/16in); the second titled along the bottom margin Ame no Omiya (Rain at Omiya), dated Showa gonen saku (Work of Showa 5 [1930]), a later edition printed by Shobido, circa 1950s (originally published by Sakai-Kawaguchi), with a red seal Shobi at the bottom left corner on the reverse, 42.3cm x 30.6cm (16 5/8in x 12in); both signed Hasui with Kawase seal.
