Showa era (1926-1989), both dated 1946 Comprising two oban yoko-e prints: one titled along the left margin Sekiyado no yukibare (Clearing after a Snowfall at the Sekiyado) depicting a woman carrying a child on her back walking home after the snowfall, dated Showa nijuichinen saku (Work of Showa 21 [1946]), published by Watanabe Shozaburo, with a red square Watanabe gift seal at the bottom left corner, 27cm x 37cm (10 5/8in x 14½in); the second also titled along the left margin Mito Hinuma Hiroura (Hi Marsh, Hiroura in Mito), depicting a lone straw-caped fisherman making his way past snow-laden pine trees along a peninsula during a heavy snowstorm, dated Showa nijunichinen saku (Work of Showa 21 [1946]), published by Watanabe Shozaburo, with a 6mm round Watanabe seal at the bottom right corner, 26.7cm x 39.6cm (10½in x 15 9/16in); both signed Hasui with Kawase seal.
