Both tables with rectangular top set above a galleried waist raised on cabriole legs terminating in everted hoof feet, all resting on a rectangular frame, lavishly decorated in polychrome and gilt designs on the top with a Shou character comprised between two lotus medallions surrounded by four sinuous dragons and four butterflies hovering amidst a profusion of blossoming lotus, peonies and other flowerheads issuing from curving tendrils and acanthus leaves, all comprised within a border of scrolling lotus and diaper cartouches, the waist decorated with rectangular panels depicting further dragons, the legs and base frame with further scrolling lotus designs. 130cm (51 1/8in) long x 80cm (31 1/2in) high x 65cm (25 1/2in) deep.
