明代文风兴盛，直接影响了民间对文房用品的需求与发展，因而创造了大量各式各样造型的文房器具，铜制的各类闲章深得文人雅仕喜爱。此件胡人献酒铜章是受到传统的“八蛮献宝”题材的启发创造而来。胡人头带铜箍跪坐于须弥方座，手捧酒壶，表现手法夸张，入手厚重，甚是小巧可爱。底部有印文：清时文武人家。
