莲花手观音为观音菩萨众多化身之一，表现为一头二臂，宽肩细腰，躯体结构匀称，造型端庄大方，以优雅姿态立于台座之上，右手轻捻莲花茎，蜿蜒上升开敷于肩头；左手下探结予愿印，传递出观音以莲花开示和教化众生的深刻用意。此件以紫檀整雕。呈站姿，面目丰润，身着法衣袈裟，细腰长裙。整尊佛像包浆浑厚，造型比例准确，神情静穆，鎏金虽已斑驳仍灿烂耀眼，紫檀为材精雕而成，兼加漆金为饰，诚佛教造像佳作。
