Imperle. de Sevres 7, impressed marks for DC to base, 23.7cm diameter, together with a plate, similarly painted with a classical scene, en grisaille, of a young woman, possibly a representation of Athena, Goddess of Wisdom , educating a young man in an interior, within thick gilt border, the rim decorated with gilt classical leaves, printed marks for M. Imple de Sevres 1809, incised marks for J, 23.8cm (2) CONDITION REPORT: Plate with Athena-overall general wear and scratching to the gilding, some minor patches of luminescence to the porcelain, no cracks, minor discolouration to the porcelain rim The plate with the Education scene-overall general wear and scratching to the gilding, some larger areas of loss, particularly to the rim lining, one patch 1cm square, two others by the girls head
