A collection of Chinese ivory games, 19th century, including three Qiqiaoban (tangrams) in carved boxes with figures, 5 to 7cm long, a Jiulianhuan (baguenaudier), the handle carved with two ladies, 25.5cm long, a set of sunmao (mortise and tenon), each block approximately 5.2cm long, a whistle, 8.6cm long, a Liuxingchui (meteor hammer), 4.5cm long, and other ivory toys, all in a rectangular hinged lacquered box painted with figures in a scroll in gilt, 38cm long 清十九世纪 象牙玩具组 Condition report: Box - gilt rubbed, chips to edges, cracks, dents and scratches to lacquer, some mould dots to the back. Key missing. One hinge bent and broken, the catch broken. Blue liner with splits and loose threads. Some ivory misshaped due to heat and weather, some with natural cracks. Square box with splits to joints. Box with cross with cover warped and broken recess.
