Two Chinese snuff bottles, one, a blue and white snuff bottle, Guangxu (1875-1908), painted with a boy on a buffalo pointing out a direction for a literatus in a landscape, the reverse with a Tang poem 'Qingming' by Du Mu, mask and ring handles to the sides, six-character Yongzheng mark, 6.3cm high, with a tiger's eye stopper, and the other, a famille rose snuff bottle, Qing dynasty, moulded with Fu, Lu and Shou in relief among clouds in roundels, surrounded by Eight Daoist Emblems, four-character Jiaqing mark, 7cm high, with a hardstone stopper mounted with an inscribed silver spoon, and a blue and white waterpot, 19th century, the domed body painted with the Eight Daoist Immortals above waves, against a copper-red glaze, 4.9cm diameter, (3) 清 八仙图水盂 及 人物图鼻烟壶 一组三件 Condition report: Water pot -no obvious faults. Blue and white snuff bottle - stopper cracked, small chips and glaze flakes to lower section of bottle, one corner grounded, surface scratches throughout. Famille rose snuff bottle - chips to rim, foot rim and border of one roundel. Enamel losses.
