A Chinese jade bi disc, of circular form, pierced with a central aperture, densely carved to both sides with the 'grain' pattern, encircled by a plain border, 14cm diameter, and another, the broad flat surface centred with a circular aperture, the central aperture with a slightly bevelled edge, 14cm diameter, both stones of celadon tone, variegated with dark brown and russet veining (2) Provenance: An English private collection; Bonhams Knightsbridge, London, 7 November 2011, part lot 89.
