A pearlware dinner set on tray, early 19th century, consisting of two covered dishes, two open dishes and a comport, each decorated in yellow and grey with a foliate border, and on a galleried oval mahogany tray with a brass handle to either end, the tray 55 x 48cm Condition report: Various damages, chips and cracks. One covered dish, free from major damage, but with chips to black-line decoration. One open dish marked 5 with repaired chip and rack to the underside. Comport with a large chip to one end. Another covered dish with large crack to base, the cover appears fine. Another open dish appears free from damage or restoration, all with scratches and chips to paint tray, with knocks and scratches. Handles tarnished.
