Pair Chinese blue and white lamps, Parish-Hadley, Qing Dynasty and adapted (19th c.), blue underglaze porcelain ginger jars, identically decorated with images of female and male warrior on horse in battle, one with sword aloft while carrying an infant, converted to lamps with wood base and cap and patinated brass stem and sockets, each 12"h x 11"dia (vase), 23"h (to finial) Provenance: Furnishings from the Estate of Barbara Allen de Kwiatkowski, a Parish-Hadley Commission Notes/Literature: Model, socialite, and Andy Warhol protege, Barbara Allen de Kwiatkowski, made her name as a young editor at Interview Magazine and as a popular subject of the Society pages.
