Dimensions: Height: 46.5cm, Diam: 22cm Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Kangxi Blue and white porcelain flower vases. Potted in a traditional Gu beaker shape vase, having baluster shaped body, large, tall and thick, bulging belly on the mid, trumpet-shaped on the tall neck, raised with high round flaring foot base, and slight deep concave. This porcelain in blue and white fine color, is an excellent object on exterior with many figural in various zeal on the filed, front gate surrounded with dense tree bellow scrolling ruyi. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design. The whole shape is delicate, gorgeous, and classic which is extremely rare. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings lines. Made In The Years Kangxi Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
