Jiaqing The stone of pale even tone, the head shaped as a shallow lobed ruyi panel delicately carved with blossoming chrysanthemums and framed by a phoenix spreading its wings carved in high relief holding a chrysanthemum, its tail elegantly sweeping along the back of the sceptre, the shaft showing another phoenix swaggering proudly on a rock, the pointed lower end with bamboo and lingzhi growing on rocks, stand. 38cm (15in) long.
