Antonio DeVity (1901-1993) Antonio DeVity was born in Reggio Calabria, lived in Rome, where he studied under Giacomo Balla. He later moved to Paris where he studied under Antoine Blanchard. He is well known for his paintings of Paris and Venetian canals. His popular scenes are of the Moulin Rouge, Notre Dame and le Cafe de la Paix. Antonio was educated at the Naples Art Lyceum and L'ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris. He opened an art studio in Naples in 1950 where he sold and exported his paintings for many years.
