A TURQUOISE BRACELET, BY CARTIER, CIRCA 1965 The articulated ropetwist links set with circular cabochon turquoise highlights, mounted in 18K gold, signed Cartier, numbered, with maker's mark 'LV' for Lucien Vachey, French assay marks, length 18.3cm Lucien Vachey was a goldsmith as well as a sculptor. His workshop was registered 45 avenue des Ternes in the 17th district of Paris from the 1960s until the 2000s. He patented 'silverplatinum' which was a special blackened silver allow. The workshop produced for Hermes & Cartier amongst other famous French brands. He passed away in February 2021 at 96 years old.
