Brush cup, China, probably 18th century. Four-piece body (lobed), each with a large reserve with poem calligraphy and red artist's mark. Framing as golden lotus tendril in front of red background. Profiled, slightly beaded base on 4 narrow feet with golden lotus tendrils on a slightly lighter red ground. Below the base a Qianlong seal mark in red against a turquoise ground. On the lip rim the turquoise glaze is more rubbed in places, h. 14,5 cm
