Famille-Verte incense burner, China, 17th/18th century (Kangxi). Archaic form on 4 legs with paw feet. The first register with large cartouches with blooming flowers and branches. The central part with iron-red affront dragons between stylized cloud bands. Openwork lid with fo-dog knob, partially decorated with gold. Steep handles are mounted by metal pins and decorated from the inside. Body has minor hairline cracks (stable), enamel more rubbed in some places, several places were restored more extensively (restorations are older), h. 42 cm.
