Cloisonné snuffbottle, China, 19th century, polychrome cellular enamel on metal core, gilded. Bellied, depressed form. Both sides decorated with large matching curved cartouche depicting a colorful bird on a flowering magnolia branch. Black background with stylized cloud bands. Set off from the foot by a dark red, from the neck by a green sword canuf border. The matching lid with corresponding decoration. Under the base a (hardly legible) seal mark. With original invoice from 1.12.1986 (auction house in Saarbrücken), minimally rubbed, h. 6,8 cm
