Pair of lacquer panels, Japan, late 19th c., inlaid with bone and mother-of-pearl. 1 x sea eagle on dead branch, surrounded by a few flowering twigs. 1 x pair of birds on a gnarled branch. Both with signature on rectangular leg plaque, both in wooden frame, frame slightly bumped, each 71 x 47 cm.
