Champ-levée cloisonné snuffbottle, China, 18th century (Qing/Qianlong) Slender, slightly depressed body with slightly indented neck. Front and back with a diamond-shaped cartouche with varying background and floral ornament in quite free design and inreresting color scheme. The narrow sides with lotus flowers whose tendrils surround the cartouches. Corresponding lid with spatula made of bone. Under the bottom a Qianlong seal mark. With original invoice from 1986 (auction house in Saarbrücken). The decoration is completely intact. Slightly rubbed, minimally bumped, h. 6.8 cm.
