Condition report: The unlined canvas in overall good condition, with extensive craquelure webs throughout, especially visible in the sky. Examination under UV light reveals a light layer of greenish varnish in the bottom part (sea). With only three minuscule points of restoration: two at bottom center in the sea, and one at upper right in the sky (all less than 0 1/8 in.). In our opinion, the work might benefit from a very light cleaning. Frame: 34 1/2 x 31 1/2 x 2 in.
