She continues, "it makes a painting motif for me at all times." Condition report: Frame: 23 1/2 x 27 1/2 x 2 7/8 in. The unlined canvas in excellent original condition with no sign of inpainting as seen under UV light. With a slight ripple in the canvas at upper right. The back of the canvas is protected by a thin layer of cardboard, covered by the stretcher: as customary in painting by Arthur Meltzer and Paulette van Roekens.
