GOLFING INTEREST - A pair of ruby set cufflinks each terminal of rectangular outline with canted corners, each set with the letter H and C in round-cut rubies, stamped 9CT to reverse (Length of terminal:1.5cm) Provenance: These cufflinks were formerly the property of professional golfer, Sir Thomas Henry Cotton MBE, winner of the British Open Championship in 1934, 1937 and 1948. Sotheby's sale dated Friday 12 July 1996, illustrated on the catalogue front cover.
