comprising: two of Tang Style cups, each with flared rim, the thinly applied creamy glaze stops irregularly near the foot, revealing the creamy-white buff body; a bulbous cup moulded with saucer supported on a high straight foot; and a water dropper, of hemispherical form, with two perforations near the lipped mouth on both sides, the concave top section set with a spout (largest: 12cm wide) Footnote: Provenance: Private Scottish collection, has been collecting Asian ceramics for 25 years Note: The pair of Tang-style cups acquired from Denis Young Antiques, Bath on 15 July 1999, with a photocopied handwritten receipt stating the pieces dated to Tang Dynasty
