说明：此提盒以长方框做底，两侧设立柱，以站牙抵夹，上安横梁，构件相交处均嵌铜叶加固，铜件锈迹透出浓郁历史气息。共分两层，盒盖两侧立墙正中打眼，与立柱相对部位也打眼，用以插入铜条，将盒盖及各层固定于立柱之间。此件提盒制作规整稳重大方有较高的实用性。自宋代书画中就有似提盒器物出现。以紫檀为材，不易变形破裂，适于随身携带，具有较强实用性，置于案头可作为文房用具储藏玉石、印章、小件赏玩等。
