A CARVED CINNABAR LACQUER LOBED 'TRIBUTE-BEARERS' BOX AND COVER Qianlong Finely carved on the cover with a ruyi-shaped medallion enclosing two tribute-bearers on a lakeshore dotted with pine trees, the rocks and trees finely detailed, the sky, water and ground picked out with different brocade patterns, all within a raised interlocking edge and ruyi border, the rounded sides of the box and cover with an hexagonal cell pattern above a key-fret band at the foot. 13.2cm (5 2/8in) wide.
