18 kt Weißgold. 18k white gold brooch in a pierced cartouche design set with brilliant-, navette-, and 8/8-cut diamonds (in total 4.80 ct, 6 x ca. 0.35 ct, 6 x ca. 0.25 ct, 6 x ca. 0.10 ct, 12 x 0.05 ct, H/I, vvs). The central stone can be interchanged via a screw fixture, with the choice between either a natural mixed star step-cut Burmese ruby (ca. 6.50 ct, ca. 12.75 x 10.25 x 6.45 mm) or a bottle green irradiated brilliant-cut diamond (ca. 3.52 ct, ca. 10.55 x 10.72 x 5.11 mm, H/I vvs). Includes a screw driver to exchange the stones. Hallmarks: Fineness 750, “Binder”. The ruby slightly damaged. 3.9 x 3.5 cm. Total weight 22.35 g. Juwelier Binder, Zurich 1950s. Certificate Gemstone-Report no. 031662 by the DSEF, Idar-Oberstein from 15.04.2021 confirms the ruby to be a natural ruby with no indications of heating (NTE). Origin: Burma (Myanmar).
