题识：壬午春月龚元凯。 钤印：臣元凯印、癸卯翰林 释文：文章必自名一家，然后可以传不朽。若体规画圆，准方作矩，终为人之臣仆，古人讥屋下架屋，信然。陆机云：谢朝华于已披，启夕秀于未振。昌黎亦云：陈言务去然哉。注：据藏家言：上世纪五十年代破“四旧”时，为免遭破坏，以背面书毛泽东词，反挂而幸存。亦一历史之证物也。龚元凯（清），字福屏，号君黼、佛平，安徽合肥人。光绪二十九年进士，善书法。
