Entitled, inscribed and signed, with one seal of the artist Scroll, mounted and framed, ink and colour on silk Wu Daozi (760), also known as Daoxuan, was a Chinese painter of the Tang dynasty.His brush probably created vividly expressive lines of alternately thick and thin tensions—seen then and remembered still in distinct contrast to the more preciously colored and evenly controlled delineations of the contemporary courtly style.
