玉佩为和阗白玉制成，玉质极佳，局部带红褐色沁斑。器呈片状，随形而制，雕一夔龙，神形饱满，龙首内卷，丰额翘角，卷鼻阔口，目光如炬，神情凶悍威严。身体装饰抽象龙翼，臀部似如意，尾巴卷至玉佩背面，器表装饰乳丁纹。整体造型具有鲜明的摹古之风和强烈的装饰意味。是一件典型的明代官造玉佩精品。
