A Caughley coffee pot and cover circa 1776-79 decorated with the rare painted Peony pattern in underglaze blue, with supplementary floral sprigs, insects and associated border, painted C with serif mark, 21.5cm high (spout re-attached, restoration to cover) Condition report: The spout has been broken off and sympathetically re-attached, there is a small chip to the inside rim of the cover. There are also four small sections of restoration to the cover in the form of filled chips/cracks.
