The 'mille fleurs' decoration (wan hua dui), a symbol of abundance, was experimented in the furnaces of Jingdezhen already during the reign of the Emperor Yongzheng (1723-1736), used constantly in the following centuries, and in particular in the last decades of the dynasty .
