带钩为白玉质地，玉质细腻温润，光气精良。整体雕琢一带钩样式，钩头作龙首形，龙首头生双弯角，面容威严；弧面钩身，底部有一圆钮；钩身上镂雕制作螭龙纹饰，螭龙体态粗壮婉转，口中衔有灵芝草叶；为古时贵族豪门装饰器物。谚语中有望子成龙之说，喻父养子、应与教，养不教、父之过；寓意望子成龙、吉祥美好。整体造型端庄大气，纹饰线条颇为细腻，适合作为收藏把玩器物。
